These documents show details of the intelligence efforts that were undertaken by both the United States and Soviet Union during the Cold War. The first document is full of technical data relating to the launch and subsequent failure of Sputnik 46 in November 1963. The second document shows American concerns for Hungarian Military Attaches that were traveling to observe and gather intelligence on various SAC bases in the Midwest and the desire to limit their movements.

To find the Sputnik document click on Missiles and Rockets found on the main page under the declassified documents tab or it is available directly here. The Counter Intelligence document is located under the SAC document tab on the main page or here.
