Pararescue Airmen with the 64th Expeditionary Rescue Squadron, perfect rope ladder, fast rope, rappel, and hoist techniques during a combat search and rescue drill at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Feb. 24, 2010. Many of their training scenarios require the team to enter a hostile area, defeat a threat, insert the team, authenticate a survivor and recover them to a friendly location. The CSAR team trains several times a week to help ensure mission success. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Brittany Y. Bateman/Released)
